Team Gear Mission 2-2

TEAM GEAR MISSION 2, PART 2: FOREST OF MEETING

~After Picking up Mike and into the woods around Castle Draclugia~

"So, Mikey, What would happen if-"

Two Voices called out in unison "It's Mike."

"Okay. Fine. So what would you do if, say, We beat Merlo-"

"I told You, Raiko, We're NOT Fighting. We don't have Nearly the enough amount of Monpower." Koru stated, sighing as again he would be ignored. "Mike, We're just rescuing the People of Sapling Village, right?"

Mike 'hmmed' and 'hawed' For a moment. "And helping the Merchant Guild, if we run into Shroomsworth and what team he's going with. They're heading to sapling Village, too. " He said, Nodding.

Koru nodded, adjusting the Backpack Mike had lent him. "See? We're doing a Quiet Mission. Not a Fighting mission."

Raiko fumed for another moment, before turning a quizzical eye towards Mike.  "So, What's with that stone--?"

"Tally-ho! It's a good thing we ran into you chaps!"

The Trio Of Rescuers turned to see Shroomsworth, And a Merchant team consisting of a Larvesta, A Kirlia, and a Purrloin. Behind them was a Cart filled with Grass-Pokemon Eggs. "Team Sho and I were Just Debating to either go through Draclugia's Lair or to go to Creeping Forest! If, ah, You allow us to charge a small fee, We could be persuaded…"

While Mike went to Negotiate Prices, Koru and Raiko went to meet the other team.

"Hi! I'm Raiko, and this Spoilsport here is Koru!" Raiko introduced, making Koru facepaw. "We're Team Gear. Who are you guys?"

The Larvesta Went first. "I'm Reo. The Purrloin is Mio, And This is Lucia." She said, Motioning Antenna toward the Purrloin and Kirlia in turn.

"Hiya!" Mio said cheerfully, While Lucia let out a Shy "H-Hello…"

Koru walked in front and offered a paw to Reo. "It's an honor to work with you, Miss Reo."
Reo looked at the paw a moment before shaking her head. "We're leaning toward going through the Castle Anyway... We just need to convince Shroomsworth." She stated, Lucia nodding while Mia sulked a bit.

Koru Thought for a moment, before blinking. "Well, If I Caused a distraction, you guys could go through, And not pay a Dime!  And, You and Mike," He continued, turning toward Raiko, "Could get help the servants!"

Reo Still looked doubtful, but she did at least look a little more interested. "Well, In any case, You'd have to talk to Shroomsworth. In the end it's up to him."

Koru Nodded, Waving to Raiko before joining  Mike and Shroomsworth.

"… So, Can I tell you about the time I Saved a Prince from a Cold Mountaintop from a Groudy old  Jynx?"

Koru could hear the Groaning from the other side of the clearing.

"… Well, It's just a slight Problem… I left my Wallet back at the guild." Mike Confessed, looking at the fairly hefty price that Shroomsworth put forward.

Shroomsworth sighed before closing the book. "It seems that we have a disagreement now." He stated, Heading toward the cart with the Eggs.

Koru blinked  a moment before thinking up of something. "Wait! Ovaltine is stealing things from your customers, right?"

"… I'm listening."

Koru Cleared his throat before continuing. "Well, If My team not Only Stopped her, But made her Return all the Items and Poke She stole, Wouldn't that return quite the Hefty Profit back into your Coffer?"

"…"  A moment passed while Shroomsworth Considered the offer, before turning back towards where Koru and Mike were. "We Have a Deal!"
